GENERAL RULES – COMMUNAL AREAS
All visitors must be registered at Reception upon arrival. Mystique is a private, resident-only resort.
All guests, owners, staff and security personnel must be treated with courtesy and respect at all times.
Do not enter or cross any active construction zones.
The speed limit within the property is 10 km/h. Please follow designated driving paths and parking instructions.
Tampering with fire extinguishers or emergency equipment is strictly prohibited and will result in a $300 fine and may be reported to authorities.
In the event of an alarm or emergency, all guests and staff must follow instructions from the evacuation team.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURE & MEETING POINT
In case of emergency:
- Follow instructions from staff or security immediately
- Remain calm and do not run
- Assist others if safe to do so
Emergency Meeting Point:
The designated evacuation area is the open parking space near Reception.
SAFETY & SECURITY
No illegal substances are permitted on the property. Violations will be reported to the police.
Guests and owners are responsible for their personal belongings.
Mystique cannot be held liable for loss, damage or theft.
All suspicious activity must be reported immediately to Reception or Security.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking inside any villas or apartments is strictly prohibited.
A $250 fine per stay will apply for violations.
Smoking is permitted only in outdoor areas, including:
- balconies
- terraces
- rooftops
Please dispose of cigarette waste responsibly.
WASTE & CLEANLINESS
Please keep all communal areas clean and free of personal belongings.
Do not leave garbage in corridors or public spaces. A $50 fine may apply.
Use designated waste areas and follow recycling guidelines:
- Organic waste → Green containers
- Plastic → Blue containers
- Other waste → Blue containers
NOISE & COMMUNITY RESPECT
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 08:00 AM
Please respect other guests and residents.
No parties or organised events are allowed in communal areas without written approval.
Children must be supervised at all times.
POOL & FACILITIES
Pool hours: 07:00 AM – 08:00 PM
Respect other guests, especially during quiet hours.
Do not misuse communal facilities.
LAUNDRY & COMMON SPACES
Laundry rooms are shared — please follow usage rules and remove items promptly.
Laundry must not be hung in corridors or communal areas.
PETS
Pets are not permitted in communal areas.
However, please note:
A small dog Luna lives on the property near the entrance gate.
The dog has been rescued and adopted. It is friendly and supervised, but guests are advised not to feed or disturb it.
PRIVATE UNITS (APARTMENTS & VILLAS)
Smoking inside units is strictly prohibited.
Do not modify, move or damage furniture or décor.
Do not move indoor furniture outside.
Use all equipment as intended.
Report any technical or maintenance issues immediately to Reception.
As we are in Africa please respect and be mindful of water, electricity and air conditioning usage.
